Alleged Court Order Breach: Concerns Raised Over Actions of Chief Emmanuel Ahuokpoeme and Chief Uzoma Ekeanyanwu

The Obi Mbieri autonomous community has been drawn into renewed concern following allegations of non-compliance with a court directive involving Chief Emmanuel Ahuokpoeme and Chief Uzoma Ekeanyanwu.

According to information made available to Eziokwubundu.com,  a court order issued on October 15, 2025, expressly cautioned both individuals against actions capable of breaching peace or disrupting public tranquility within the community. The directive specifically warned against presenting Chief Uzoma Ekeanyanwu as the Traditional Prime Minister of Obi Mbieri in a manner that could generate tension or conflict.

However, findings from independent inquiries and materials reviewed by the eziokwubundu.com, suggest that the directive may not have been fully adhered to. Available video evidence reportedly indicates that Chief Uzoma Ekeanyanwu has presided over meetings of the Eze in council meetings in the capacity of Traditional Prime Minister, a development that has raised legal and procedural concerns among stakeholders. He has been parading himself as the traditional prime minister of Obi Mbieri, this is causing serious confusion and it is threatening the entire peace and unity of the Obi Mbieri autonomous community. 

In addition, both Chief Emmanuel Ahuokpoeme and Chief Uzoma Ekeanyanwu are said to have played roles in decisions affecting Umuomume village, including actions linked to the reported suspension of its leadership. It was reported that Chief Emmanuel Ahuokpoeme signed the suspension document. An action the Obi Mbieri current leadership said it is illegal, null and void. Observers note that these developments have contributed to heightened tensions and ongoing disputes within the community.

Stakeholders are also urging the Ezeukwu 1 of Obi Mbieri Eze (Elder) J. N Osuji to provide clarity on the situation and moreover relevant government authorities should take appropriate steps to ensure compliance with court orders.
